On July 4, Kesha declared her independence—in glitter, grit, and full-volume pop. The global superstar has released her long-awaited new album, . (PERIOD), the first project she’s written, recorded, and released entirely on her own terms. Out now via her own label, Kesha Records, the album arrives not just as a celebration of freedom, but as a brash, cheeky, and cathartic return to form.

After years of navigating label drama and industry red tape, Kesha is finally in control, and the results are explosive. From the soaring opener “THE ONE” to the unapologetically unhinged “BOY CRAZY” and the swaggering “YIPPEE-KI-YAY,” (PERIOD) doesn’t just revisit the party-pop chaos of her early days—it evolves it. It’s a project as self-aware as it is unfiltered.

The Guardian praised it as “filled with smart little twists and drops, and funny, self-referential lines,” while Vogue called it “an unapologetic celebration of living your best life.”

The album also features instant favorites like “DELUSIONAL” and the international earworm “JOYRIDE,” all part of what Rolling Stone describes as “a frisky pop record that delights in throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks.”

Billboard adds that the project is “a return to form… with its ringleader’s tongue planted firmly in her cheek, as well as a full-length with more depth and wisdom than the singles collections of her ‘TiK ToK’ days.”

As NPR’s All Songs Considered put it: “Kesha’s music has incorporated darker and more serious themes, but her new album… is the first she’s been able to record and release independently, and appropriately enough, it feels like a celebration.”

The July 4 drop also marks the explosive kickoff of The Tits Out Tour, Kesha’s biggest headlining run yet. The tour launched with a sold-out show before more than 18,000 fans in West Valley City, Utah, and continues across North America with guests Slayyyter and Rose Gray.

The tour includes sold-out stops at iconic venues like NYC’s Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles—confirming that Kesha’s not just back; she’s bigger than ever.

(PERIOD) is available now on all major platforms, including limited-edition “Punish Me Pink” vinyl and exclusive bundles at kesha.store. Loud, liberated, and fully in charge, Kesha is doing what she was always meant to do—this time, on her own terms.
