In her upcoming memoir, “The Secrets of My Life,” Caitlyn Jenner claims late attorney Robert Kardashian knew his friend and client O.J. Simpson was guilty of the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, according to excerpts from the book obtained by Radar Online.
Jenner reportedly writes Kardashian, who was married to Jenner’s ex-wife Kris Jenner from 1978 to 1991, confessed to the Olympian during a car ride in the late 90s.
“I would’ve been okay with it if they had gotten him in the first trial,” Jenner writes, according to the excerpts obtained by Radar Online. “The implication was obvious that he believed O.J. was guilty.”
Jenner adds Simpson “was the most narcissistic, egocentric, neediest asshole in the world of sports I had ever seen, and I had seen a lot of them.”
In the excerpt obtained by Radar Online, the reality star gives her own take about the Simpson murder trial.
“I believe he got away with two savage murders,” she reportedly wrote. Jenner goes on to say her stepdaughters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian sided with their father and Simpson. But she adds Kris was close friends with Nicole.
Following what is called “The Trail of the Century,” Simpson was acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife and her friend in 1995. Two years later, a civil court awarded a $33.5 million judgement against Simpson in a wrongful death trial. In 2008, Simpson was sentenced to up to 33 years in prison for kidnapping and armed robbery.
This isn’t the only bombshell from “The Secrets of My Life,” out April 25. Earlier this week Radar Online shared excerpts where Jenner revealed she had gender reassignment surgery.
Robert Kardashian died of esophageal cancer in September 2003. He was 59.
